Below are the terms and conditions for the cleaning service provided by Lifetime Assist. These terms are correct as of April 2010
1. GENERAL
a) By using our service or booking our services you agree to these terms and conditions
b) You and your refers to the customer
c) We,us,our refers to Lifetime Assist a trading name of Chris Spackman
D) All communications by us shall be via email, phone or written letter.
2. REGULAR CLEANING
a) A minimum of 3 hours is required to use our services unless we agree ohterwise via email or letter.
b) We will attend your home to assess what needs to be done before any booking is made..
c) You agree to provide a task list of works required and acknowledge that if you request other things to be done the items on your list may not be completed and Lifetime Assist are not responsible for that.
d) You agree to supply all products needed to carry out the required tasks such as a hoover, mop and bucket and any special products needed. Lifetime Assist will not provide any electrical items.,
e) You agree that your home is in good order and there are no issues which may threaten the health and safety of the team member.
f) If needed more than 1 person shall attend to your home but this will be agreed before a booking is made.
g) If we are required to pick up any keys a flat charge of £10 is payable and we will only pick keys up within 10 miles of the property.
h) If we can not gain entry to the property for any reason other than our own liability charges still apply. If for example you have booked 3 hours and we are waiting for 1.5hours we will carry out 1.5 hours of work but you will be charged for the full amount.
i) If on turning up to carry out our duties we are turned away or we are unable to carry out our duties for any reason beyond our control charges still apply.
j) You agree that you have adequate insurance to cover those working at your home. Please look at your home insurance.
k) You nust give us no less than 48hours notice should you wish to canclel a booking or charges still apply.
l)Our agreement is for a rolling monthly period and as such we require 1 months notice either by email or letter to advise us that you no longer require the service.
m) Payment is required by the date stated on the invoice. Payment can be made by BACS or Cheque. Cheque payments will incur a 50p charge.
n)These terms and conditions may change from time to time and we will give you notice of that and you are deemed to agree to those terms should you continue to use or service.
o) Non payment of invoice may result in a claim against you.
p) If you no longer require our services you are required to give 1 months notice
3. AFTER TENANCY CLEANING
a) Points, b,,e,g,h,i,j,m,n and o quoted (Regular Cleaning) above shall apply in addition to the following unless otherwise agreed via email or letter.
b) Chrges are based on a flat fee cost as agreed on inspection of the property before any work is carried out. These charges are based on the whole task and not a room by room basis.
c) Payment will be on completion of each property or as otherwise agreed.
d) You agree that this type of cleaning is different from a regular domestic clean and as such will take longer thus higher charges may apply due to the works needed.
e) We will only carry out the clean if the property is empty of tennants and their property.
f) We shall supply all cleaning products inc mop and bucket but exc any electrical items.
g) If you require any cleaning of carpets and ovens we can provide those services to you via our third party partners but we are not liable for any dmage caused by them or the quality of their work.
h) You agree that the inventroy will have been completed before we attend to carry out any cleaning.
i) Any times are quotes only and due to the nature of the work more time maybe needed than what is quoted dependant on how clean the property is.
j) If you book our services and cancel during the booking a fee of 50% of the cost of each property will be chargable be that a per hour basis where agreed or a flat fee per property
k) To avoid any doubt any number of homes you require us to attend form part of a booking for our services.
l) By booking our services you agree to these terms.
